Admission Process

Embark on your journey at Al-Kawthar University through one of our convenient application methods:

On-Campus Application:

Visit our campus to receive personalised assistance from our admissions office. Our dedicated staff will guide you through the entire process, from understanding the admission requirements to filling out and submitting the online application. They will also provide any additional support you might need, ensuring a smooth and efficient application experience.

Online Application:

For Online application, click on the link www.admissions.aku.edu.pk and follow the step-by-step instructions provided below to complete and submit your online application form.

Step 1: Accessing the Online Admission Portal

  • Begin your application by accessing our online admission portal www.admissions.aku.edu.pk .
  • Create your account and complete your profile.
  • Step 2: Complete the Admission Form

    Fill out the complete admission form divided into multiple sections:

  • Admission Info: Select your current qualification and desired programme. Please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
  • Basic Info: Upload a passport-size photograph, upload your CNIC (Front and back of the CNIC) or B-Form, date of birth, and other required details.
  • Academic Information: Enter your academic details accurately as requested and upload clear and readable scanned copies of the below-required documents;
  • Photocopy of SSC Mark-Sheet / O-Level Equivalence.
  • Photocopy of SSC Certificate.
  • Photocopy of HSC-II Mark-sheet / DAE Mark-Sheet / A-Level Equivalence OR Last obtained Mark-sheet.
  • Step 3: Receive Admit Card

  • Upon completing the above steps, your admit card will be issued automatically. However, receiving the Admit Card is by no means a guarantee of admission for you. You need to clear the admission test, interview and submit your fee and only then you will be a bona fide student of Al-Kawthar University
  • In case of any issues, visit the campus to collect your admit card or contact us via email at admissions@aku.edu.pk
  • Step 04: Take the Entrance Test

  • Details about the entrance test, including the date and format have already been mentioned on your admit card which was automatically generated.
  • An MCQ-based computerised test covering English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, knowledge of the subject and IQ will be conducted.
  • Step 05: Appear for Interview

  • Your interview may be scheduled on the same day when you appeared in the admission test or it may be planned on a subsequent day. You will be communicated about it verbally/via email by the Admission office, based on your performance.
  • Step 06: Pay the Semester Fee

  • After successfully clearing the admission test and interview, you will receive a semester fee voucher. This voucher can be paid at Meezan Bank or online through the admission portal.
  • After paying at the bank, upload the paid fee voucher to the admission portal to confirm your provisional admission offer.
  • Once all steps are completed, you will receive your student ID. For further guidance regarding courses and student ID, please contact the Admission Office.
