Al-Kawthar University is established to bridge the gap in modern education by integrating Islamic principles with contemporary learning. Recognising the need for an institution that nurtures both intellectual and ethical development, a group of seasoned educationists with international experience have founded Al-Kawthar University.

The university aims to provide a balanced education, combining rigorous academic training with the moral and ethical values inspired by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the early generations of Muslims. Al-Kawthar offers a platform where students are nurtured to become accomplished professionals and enlightened individuals.

A significant part of our future vision involves the integration of healthcare education. Our State-of-the-Art The Modern Hospital, located on campus, will serve as the cornerstone for establishing the Faculties of Health and Medical Sciences, and Pharmacy. These faculties will offer programmes such as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), BS in Human Nutrition & Dietetics (BHND), and BS in Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS).

Our commitment extends to creating an inclusive and supportive environment that celebrates diversity and fosters cultural exchange among our students. Through these endeavours, we aim to provide a comprehensive education that empowers students with the knowledge and skills essential for success in their respective fields.

Ustadh Asim Ismail is a prolific social entrepreneur and a widely-sought trainer and consultant in education and Islamic studies.

He is the founder and CEO of Skylight Education Solutions and the principal of its flagship school Fajr Academy. He has seventeen years of experience in the private Islamic education sector (including serving as Head of the Islamic Department at Reflections School), with dedicated research in education for the last eleven years, as well as eighteen years of book publishing experience.

He is also the founder and CEO of Alwasila Trust, whose first social service project began sixteen years ago and now runs 12 projects across six countries.

He possesses an extraordinary proficiency in the launch and revitalization of flagship FMCG brands. His acumen extends to brand equity building, the development of cutting-edge and forward-thinking products (NPDs), and conducting extensive consumer-centric research. He is adept in both conventional and digital marketing strategies, effectively managing sales operations, and meticulously overseeing the P&L of brands.

His strategic approach ensures substantial top-line and bottom-line growth, fostering sustainable long-term successes of the brands. His exceptional leadership and innovative mindset have consistently driven brands to new heights, cementing his reputation as a true marketing leader in the industry. Ahmed Ameer Khan

Ahmed Ameer Khan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. He joined Al-Kawther University after being retired as a Civil Servant. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCA) in the UK, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Management Accountants (FICS), and has been affiliated with the Institute of Taxation Management.

Throughout his career, Ahmed has held several key leadership roles at organizations such as Pak Steel, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and World Bank. His expertise encompasses financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, and analysis.

At Al-Kawthar University, Mr. Ahmed has been given responsibilities to look after finances of not only the University but also of Modern Hospital, which is going to be an integral part of the University. He is dedicated to enhancing the university’s financial stability and fostering its growth. He focuses on implementing robust financial strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the university's mission to deliver exceptional education. His leadership is geared towards creating a sustainable and thriving academic environment.

Tahir Khan

Tahir Khan is a seasoned IT expert with over a decade of experience in the industry. He has had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles, including Deputy Director of IT at the Board of Revenue Sindh, Head of IT at Alkhidmat Foundation, and leading the PMO department at the National Bank of Pakistan. He has also contributed his expertise to various US-based IT firms. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to enhancing IT infrastructure, managing complex projects, and driving technological advancements across diverse sectors.

At Al-Kawthar University, He is dedicated to advancing the institution’s mission by innovating and streamlining IT processes to effectively support the university's goals. His focus is on ensuring that IT systems contribute to providing exceptional education and fostering a vibrant learning environment.
